An introduction to Upholstery Designs

Style, comfort, craftsmanship and service – the cornerstones of Upholstery Designs.

Furnishing homes in Hull, East Yorkshire and beyond for more over four decades, our family business has grown up with our customers. Now, alongside our ever-popular traditional designs, there’s also a fresh, contemporary selection of sofas, chairs, dining sets, occasional furniture and accessories, all waiting to be discovered.

Customers are unique hence we have designs to suit many tastes and styles. From carefully selected Italian sofas to British made pieces, all the furniture at Upholstery Designs is made with skill and pride.

At Upholstery Designs, we are continually updating our stock, and always have around 50 suites on display. Many of our ranges come in many sizes and hundreds of fabrics. We are small family team here to help you find what you are looking for. Currently all our sofas are British made with the exception of a few Italian models. We work closely with our manufacturers and therefore built up great relationships over our 40 years. Which means we can keep our prices reasonable without ever skimping on quality. Additionally many of our sofas offer 10/15 year frame guarantees. Some sofas have amazing fabrics that are cleanable with just water.

Here at Upholstery Designs we are a family business made up of upholsterers and their families, as a result, you can be assured that you will never be rushed or pushed into a purchase. We take our time to make sure that you will be happy with your purchase for many years. We don’t have sales target, or work for commission. Any questions or requests for alterations please ask, since we never bulk buy, many manufacturers are able to accommodate requests. We have a free parking for visiting customers and offer free impartial advice and free local delivery on most orders.
